The co.uk domain name ending is the most common in use by UK businesses.
It implies that the site belongs to a company and that the company is based in the UK
The .com (or dot com) domain name ending is the most famous in the world. Originally intended for commercial ventures in the USA but now quite common for UK businesses. It has a hint of being international.
The org.uk domain name ending is normally for organisations and clubs. Not to be confused with .org for international non-government organisations.
The .info domain name ending is usually the province of information web sites. Often used for informative web sites connected with hobbies, sport and leisure activities.
