How does the web site design process work at Amdow Web Design?

Ordering a web site from Amdow Web Design is easy. Simply click on the Contact page, complete the form and send it to us. Once we have received your form we will get back to you and discuss the style, size and design elements of your site. Domain names, if required will also be discussed.

Within a few days you'll receive the first designs of your new pages. You then choose one of the styles submitted (number of designs depends on the package), and email changes and comments (if any) back to us. After incorporating your requests and suggestions, your chosen style of site is presented again for final approval, or any additional changes.

Each order includes a set number of rounds of changes after the initial style has been selected.

Once final approval has been received, your web site is uploaded into your webspace or sent to you by email or by post for you to upload to your own web space.

How do I get to see my initial designs?

You will be able to view your initial designs via a special website URL that will be sent to you by email. This website will only be available for a limited period of time - the final agreed site will be located elsewhere

How long does the design process take?

Your first style concepts are usually delivered within 5 working days. The number of changes requested, approval time taken by you, size, complexity, workload, etc. will determine when the final site is delivered. Plan on around 10 weeks for the entire process.

How does payment work?

Amdow Web Design currently accepts cheques and money orders in GBP (UK Sterling). Payment is required immediately AFTER your initial deigns have been produced.

Why can't I pay by Credit Card?

This is why Amdow Web Design can provide this service at such an excellent rate. We don't pay a company to take percentages of our sales to accept cards, we pass this saving on to the client in lower prices. We are considering an electronic invoicing method that will allow payment by credit card or debit card via a link in the invoice.

Do you take orders from outside the United Kingdom?

Amdow Web Design offers services throughout the world we live in. No matter where your business is located Amdow Web Designs can provide you with a web site. Our only stipulation is that the site is in English and payment is made in GBP.

Do you offer any discounts?

Here at Amdow Web Design we like to keep our customers happy and bring them back to us. To do this we offer many discounts when buying a number of services at once. We we also produce additional pages and functionality to sites supplied by us at reduced rates. To get a rough quote please get in contact with us here.

How can I help out?

After we have completed a clients web site to their satisfaction, they often ask if they can do anything to publicise our business. All the sites we create contain a copyright at the foot of each page which contains a hyperlink back to this site. Although this is probably the most useful publicity, you can also help out by telling your local business contacts who might be in need of their own website. We can supply a few business cards for this purpose if it will help - just email us.

Do you provide any other services?

Apart from the basic web site design, we can also supply domain names, arrange hosting, promote sites with search engines and directories, obtain "real" email accounts with up to 20 alias names redirected to your (and your staffs) existing email addresses, guestbooks and site statistics.
